A coming of age story of a young Italian boy in the Bronx who is figuring out friendships, careers, crime and racism as he becomes a young man. Robert DeNiro stars in the film and its also his directorial debut. The film is based on a play written by the talented Chazz Palminteri about his childhood. Every kid over the age of 12 should watch this movie.
