The Kraken is a great local dive bar located across the street from the beach on Coast Highway 101 in Cardiff. The front is usually lined with Harleys and a live band is on stage. Its a true roadhouse with pool tables, live bands and huge patio out back, just like The Double Deuce. Across the street is a great surf break. The Kraken hosts, surfers, locals, tourists and bikers. All douchebaggery is checked the door because its not tolerated at The Kraken.
